Network Marketing:Categories of contacts

In the home based business of network marketing to create residual income the aim of networking is to develop lists of contacts valuable to your business.

Brian Sutton in his book ‘Networking for career and job success’ mentions three categories of contacts.A networker can convert these for use in their MLM business.

1)PERSONAL CONTACTS-people close to you like relatives,friends,neighbour.

2)SOCIAL CONTACTS-examples r from sports & social clubs;theatre and drama groups;local political groups;parent teachers association;study and educational classes,

3)BUSINESS & PROFESSIONAL CONTACTS-your accountact,solicitor; Chamber of Commerce members;trade organisations;journalists;stockbroker; professional institutes etc.The list goes you noticed,u r already in lucrative territories for networking.its just that now its about creating ‘EXPOSURE’ for your MLM business as David Wood says so that people know you r in the home based business of network marketing to create residual income.

Just REFUSE TO LOSE,its either they are your business partners/customer/referrer of potential customers &/ clients.
