MLM Prospecting: Your Future is in the Follow Up! [ Part 1]

The home based business of network marketing to create residual income needs follow up.

HAVE you ever heard, “i talk to lots of people, but they dont seem to buy products or come to the meeting. What am i doing wrong?” Or perhaps you have even asked this question yourself! Contacting new people is one thing, but it does little for your business unless you can develop in them an interest in the products or compensation plan. And since people rarely buy or sponsor the first time you mention network marketing to them, your future success with them will be determined by the quality of your follow up.

CONSISTENT, effective follow up is one of the most important habits you can develop in your business. And it is not that difficult to master. It is simply a matter of communicating with people on a regular basis to increase to increase their level of trust in your and the company to the point that they purchase product or sponsor into your network. Sometimes this is accomplished with just a few contact; other times it may require years, but as long as the contacts are consistent and pleasant, your chances of success are quite high.

FOLLOW up can be in the form of a telephone call, letter, email or personal visit; but regardless of the method, the message is the same: you want to remind them of yourself and the product or opportnty. Follow up should be customised to fit the people on your list. If they are customers, i.e. you should thank them for their purchase, check to see if they are using the product correctly, offer to answer questions, tell them about other of your MLM company products that may interest them, ask for referrals and ask them for reorders……….. to be continued
