“MAintaining focus is essential to success.Understand your circle of competence, the one thing you are good at and put you time and energy there”-Bill Gates
This Wednesday at trainings, my upline team member shared on three areas to avoid as they are disempowering whatever situation you are in:
1)DENIAL-“money is not important….”, “we cant all be business people…”.Well T Harv Eker reminded that whenever a person says money is not important “look them in the eye, then at their forehead and ask them ‘you are broke, arent you?’.When they ask you how did you know? just say ‘tthat will be USD5 please’.The reason is the person who says money isnt important doesnt have much of it.
2)BLAME-“People dont have money…”, “the economy is slow…”.Let people decide for themselves whether they have the money or not.In fact, a slow economy is where many people start consoidering alternative ways to boost household income.
3)EXCUSE-“you can either make excuses or you can make money but you cant do both”-the popular saying goes.”i don t have the time”, “i dont have the skill like that chap”, “i dont have the money…..”.Avoid these like cancer. Make the time, look for the money, learn as much as you can to grow your skills based
In conlusion, avoid disempowerment of blame and excuses
