i have spoken on personal development alot but this is worth repeating. It accounts for vast differences in lifestyle and many top earners recommend it.
From a research done in 2008, it was revealed that top CEOs of Fortune 500 companies reads four-five books per month.Reading aids acquisition of knowledge, skill sets and competencies.Reading and studying shape your mindset and enhance your beliefs. The CEOs are open to continuous learning
What does the average joe do?Research says the average joe watches five hours of televisions a day, that includes watching shows like, fear factor, survivor etc ;time on facebook/social media and playing the xbox.Sure this is no rant on entertainment but sure five hours every day till when? Some call it watching other people(actors/artists) make money in front of you.Its time to get in on the action and be among those up front as you do presentations for your prospects(they make the most money, u notice?).
The difference in earnings of those CEOs and the average joe is staggering. As a top trainer once put it “the market inflicts pain on those who refuse to discipline themselves”.Jim Rohn, one of the highest rated thinkers once said “There are two types of pain we will all face. The pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The pain of discipline weighs ounces but the pains of regret weighs tonnes”. Build your personal brand by soaking in the knowledge and skill from book, audios and seminars
Now you know what your prospect is doing when the didn’t come to the evening presentation like they said they would. The temptation of that remote control for ‘Day of Our lives’, “Bold & the beautiful’ was probably too much for them
One speaker once said,”When the end comes for you, let it find you climbing a new mountain not sliding down an old one”
Ladies and gentleman, there is a need for continuous learning in life, and my prayer is that you avail yourself to that process.
God bless you and God bless your dreams
